Truly hilarious that everything old is new again given enough time. We are back to 80s bricks lol!

Looks good though, as usual kia just copy's whoever looks cool at the time and puts a nice spin on it.

Gonna go check one out when it is available, bit?......even if you don't buy or lease one.
Here's a video with some nice close-ups...although some of them are just a rehash of the OP.

Its actually almost exactly the same size as yours, just looks bigger.

I don’t care for the rear but otherwise I love it. Go Hyundai, lead and take chances.

Interesting design choices. Interior is awesome. My only beef with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis is how frequently they make exterior modifications. I don't know the exact timeframe, but it feels like every 3ish years there is a major overhaul and makes the prior gen outdated. I wonder what any of this hints at towards a Palisade redesign.

That comes from them being the underdog.

I agree though that it makes for an issue if you’re going to keep one long term.

Has an "EV" look to it, I think that is what they are going for here.

current santa fe design came out start of 2018 and was refreshed lightly for '21. so it's a pretty normal cycle actually.

The current generation debuted in the 2019 model year. 2018 was still the Santa Fe Sport.

yes but...

On 21 February 2018, Hyundai introduced the fourth-generation Santa Fe in South Korea,

so even if it was 2019 model year in u.s. and this new one will be 2024, that's still a 5 year cycle, not that short.

As a lifelong Toyota and Lexus owner, it feels short to me. In fact I can't think of another brand where the cycle is that short. And within the Hyundai 5 year cycle there is a mid cycle refresh for interior and exterior updates. There are positives to that for sure. But the negative would be knowing that in one way or another your brand new car is going to be "outdated" in 2.5 years max.

"Introduced" isn't the same as made available for sale. Hyundai "introduced" the 24 SF yesterday.
