Default Craigslist S-Class Sell Gone Wrong

Apparently the prospective "buyer" asked to sit behind the wheel and eventually drove off without permission.

I would have just called the cops immediately - presumably they would have already had the license plate number. There's no way the thieves were getting away with that.

That S-class is new enough to still have the complimentary GPS tracking active too.

Who does a private sale on $100k plus car?!
Makes no sense to me.

Car was probably stolen already and new guy stole it again.

It's impossible for the thief to win, but it's not impossible for the owner to lose.

Why did it take so long to drive away?

I'm guessing either they didn't know the car well or the pedestrian safety features kicked in.

Wow. I'm not sure what I would have done if I somehow let someone in my car with the keys like that, I wouldn't really want to shoot through the glass since that would ruin the car.

I think you may be correct. I bet once the rear door was open the car put itself in Park.

That is completely inconsistent with the video. The guy opened the door, and then the driver lurched the car in reverse knocking over the guy who opened the door.
