Throw in the Sienna, you definitely are the only person in the world with that combination of vehicles in your driveway. And there is a good chance (for a reason) that you will always be the only person to ever have that combo. lol
But now that I think about it, I doubt there are many people with two LS430s and a Plaid either, so who am I to judge?

That's how we feel about the Ody. It's got low miles for a 2018 (45K), runs well, is paid off, and we are fine with valet and other folks driving it. It's nice to have a well equipped beater. Plus you can't beat the utility of a minivan. Between the cavernous amounts of space and low load floor, there are few vehicles that can beat it from a practicality standpoint. It's our primary airport vehicle because it fits everything and I don't care where I park it
Lol, nope 🤣. It's paid off, and it's a minivan. There is zero EV equivalent of it right now. We hardly drive it, maybe 3 times this year, so I had to put a trickle charger on it. There is really no reason to replace it, when we need more than 5 seats or we need to transport a lot of stuff, it comes in handy.
If Tesla (or another EV) had a minivan and I had to replace it, and it made financial sense, I would replace it in an instant. Remember, I live in California where owning an EV is a no brainier, with charging at home and lots of fast charging

Exactly, there is really no EV equivalent right now. The closest would be either the EV9 or R1S, both are pricey, and still don't have the room and utility of a minivan. Even my brother in law who has two Tesla's and an Avalon hybrid kept his 2010 Ody with over 200k on it because sometimes you need a minivan

And if you stop and really think about that, it's actually kind of insane. There is basically no class of vehicle where it would be easier to make a truly excellent EV than the minivan. Acres of perfectly-flat floor make room for massive battery capacity, eliminating range anxiety. Buyers aren't looking for canyon carvers, so the extra weight of those batteries doesn't create a handling deficit. Typically owners also have lots of short trips and lots of sitting, way more efficient to do both than by leaving an engine running.

I think you are totally correct, but if I would make a guess, I would say that they would be too expensive for the consumer at this point in time. Tesla would be the best positioned to build them, make them profitable and priced right (as well as having a large fast charging infrastructure), but I don't think they have any plans to build one. ID Buzz doesn't have the range and is overpriced, so Hyundai would probably be best positioned to build one, but it wouldn't be profitable for awhile

Combine the fact that minivas are dying off, with the pricey BEVs, yeah nobody is really making BEV minivans for long trips, it makes no sense.
EV9 is close to it, and the reason they made it is because it is large SUV. Which is very popular in US, so they can price it accordingly.
My friend (from other thread) also has a MYLR and he has the 20s and wish he went with the 19s over the 20s for a more smooth ride and little better range. I rode passenger in a MYLR with 20s and I can’t give a fair assessment if the ride was harsh because it wasn’t the best road and it was a short distance (2-3 miles).

I believe you said he has a '22, which is the pre suspension update that was done in '23.
