I've seen posts that you live in/near Knoxville. I just introduced my wife to a wine called Checkerboard which she now loves just because of the name. Go Vols!
the only non-human/non-pet things i've named are my robot vacuum cleaners. the old one is called 'dusty'. the new WAY smarter ones are called einstein and feynman.
Interesting you would mention vacuum-cleaners. The early-90s-vintage plastic-bodied GM minivans, for obvious reasons, were nicknamed "Dust-Busters"

We had a Silhouette like that one and loved it. 3800 made it haul ***, these weren't heavy vehicles. One time my mom was in such a hurry to get to work, got pulled over, and the cop said he for a second was having trouble keeping up. LOL.
I usually don't name cars, but our delighter does. Her 2016 KIA Soul is "space cow" and 2016 RAV4 is "ravioli". I call my 2018 Highlander "P.O.S." for obvious reasons. The 2023 NX remains unnamed.

The plastic bodies and space-frames on the Dustbusters saved a lot of weight....and dents/corrosion. I've long-complained that one of the dumbest moves GM ever did was when they stopped using plastic body panels on not only them, but on Saturn.

Ours was leased so it wasn't an issue.
It was pretty nice, it had leather and a power sliding door---GM brought that out first.
I still remember the test drive..."wow this has good pickup!" She was coming from a 102hp Galant. The 3800 Olds Van was a Corvette compared to that, tonnnns of torque.

Yep.....the hardware for the first power-sliding doors on the Honda Odyssey was actually bought from GM.

If you think the normally-aspirated 3.8 in those vans had good pickup, you should have sampled the supercharged 3.8 that was used in some GM high-performance sedans/coupes.

Oh I had been in a Bonneville with the 240hp S/C 3800. Those motors, even NA were very strong off idle, designed perfectly for ideal performance in cut and thrust USA traffic. The transmissions that went with them were crisp shifting and fast to respond to gas inputs.
They also got 30mpg highway in some cases, from nearly 4 liters of displacement made with/from 1980s tech. Worth pointing out in today's world of efficiency so important to some.
