the c180 i'm driving is adequate, but my point has been that its other qualities of major refinement and amenities make it a very nice place to be.
Just PLEASE be careful is all I'm saying!

The more time you spend in that car the worse it can get.
Triple Pointed Star syndrome is real and there is no cure that I am aware of...

I hear it might be contagious too, don't know how I got it but I live with it everyday and that's why there is no MB I don't love, it's hopeless... haha

No offense you know I love your silver bullet, but god I hated that gen's gauges with that huge silly clock placed there. Aesthetically/attractivenesswise they look great, though.

Not only is it on the wrong side so passengers can't see it, but that is a whole gauge that could display oil pressure and temp, water temp, economy, etc. Drivers of 469hp AMG Mercedes would rather have germane engine information.

I know those vacuum economy readers are old tech but I like it in my Mercedes, it seems accurate pretty much.

you're totally right i never loved that gauge cluster real estate being dedicated to a clock, and there's literally nowhere else the time is displayed lol... i'd much rather that area be split into an oil temperature gauge and a supercharger boost gauge

also it's not seen in that pic but all the way to the right is the coolant temp so at least you get that

They should've made a separate MPG readout right under the V8 KOMPRESSOR. Would've looked way better

i've always suspected they didn't put an instantaneous MPG reading anywhere so you wouldn't accidentally focus on how low the number always is lmao

Got that right. lol

Definitely don't need an mpg gauge on a v-8 or v-12 cuz we already know it's not good and gets worse the further down the gas pedal gets.

Very very true. I drove out to grove city to meet up with a friend and my MPG on the way there was 15 since I educated a C6 as to its place in the hierarchy after he rudely cut me off on a 2-1 merge.

Way back was 22 and that difference was from only 2-3 miles of full power.

Lol my Benz is rated 16/23 but she sure as hell sucks it down wayyyyy more than that if you are anything more than GRANDMAAAAAAAA gentle with the gas. And it’s impossible not to drive it fast.

Whats weird is the LX570 gets 12-13mpg no matter if I’m gentle or hard on the gas, minimal difference at most.
