We complain too much so we dont deserve to have nice things. We will definitely complain about the grill and whatever 4 cylinder crap engine they put in there.

If they did import it I wonder how many they could sell, maybe fill a niche market? DINK's, retirees who like to travel by car, etc?

These are a lot smaller than American minivans, wouldn't really have a market here.

No reason why they couldnt just stretch it? It is based on the TNGA.

Its smaller in all dimensions, its shorter, narrower. Why would they do that when they have the Sienna here? They would just make a Lexus version of the Sienna.

I am not the biggest minivan fan, but I did like the Alphard, as it also was the last vehicle around 15 years ago to use the 1MZFE that my old RX300 had. That being said, in other parts of the world, I am fully conscious as to how much minivans, vans period are well liked and tricked out so this definitely has a place in the Lexus lineup somewhere on the planet. I think there was a plan around that same time 15 years ago to have the Toyota Estima (we knew it as the Previa), to where the Lexus nameplate in some capacity but do not think that ever came about in the real world even in concept form.

The Alphard is not an American minivan...if you are a US minivan buyer that vehicle makes no sense.
