Map update
I have a 2010 RX 350, I have learned the map is outdated and the update is 360.09. I also learned this is not the case for the newer Lexus's. I purchased this car from a dealer not knowing the map was outdated. Any help is appreciated.

Your 2010 has the Map Data on a Hard Drive which has faster access and response time than the
DVD based system used in 2009's and earlier. Unfortunately as you have discovered it is no longer
possible to simply replace the DVD with a newer genuine (or pirated) disc. The procedure is to pay
the Dealer to pay for the royalty to download the latest data to the TechTool and then transfer it to
your harddrive which takes an hour or more.
