japanese car auction
Hello there
Don't know where to put this thread, so...
Any one bought cars from Japanese car auctions?
I'm looking for GS300, but cant find it here (condition, mileages... dont like)
So i decide to import one. But import not GS300, import Aristo V300 :-)
Ofcourse i can go to some dealers/companys and ask them to import it for me, but i want to learn all process by my self.
So i need BIG advice.
What happen when i won the bid? where car goes and what should i do?
How can i deliver car to the ship? who i need to look/ask for this job?
And ofcourse papers and fees :-)
Im not expecting step by step guide, but if you have time and you want to help me...
p.s.
import will be Japan - Canada (Toronto)
Thank You So Much Guys!!!!

I've never imported a car before, but I would guess your local DMV may be able to give you pointers on this process since you ultimately have to file/ document the car for registration purposes. Also, if it's right hand drive that may come with certain restrictions for driving reasons -- if allowable at all depending on your region. Just a guess, but the DMV would be my first look if I were in your position. Good luck!

Thanks
I will check with that
I know I can import rhd car to Canada without any problems and is know that the car must be 15 years old or older.
I'm not scared about Canada's part. I'm worried about Japanese part. When I'll win the bid, what will be next step? Who will pick my car I drove it to the ship? :-)
