Its all the same shyte. I used to go to the Krown on Lakeshore near Dixie but now its too far.
Just watch them and let them know you want as few holes as possible drilled. And then ask them to show you the holes before you leave to inspect them.

I have been using Krown for almost fifteen years. I don't think a single one of my cars has ever shown rust around any of the drill holes.

I don't think you can ever stop rust but most of the good rust control shops will help slow down the rusting significantly.

The problem is that there will always be scratches and stone chips that will occur and that is what will usually promte the spread of rust.

If you plan to keep your car for a long time and drive it in winters you need to do more than just rust proof. You need to wash it reguarily, you need to keep it waxed, and you need to avoid driving through slushy and muddy driving conditions.

I've used Krown in Etobicoke for the last three years. No problems whatsoever.

Robinson Automotive in Mississauga, for their Corrosion Free rustproofing. No drilling, no dripping, no nasty yellow coloured oil.

The Krown is Markham is really good. The owner really cares about the customer's experience and the technicians have years of experience. They do so much volume that they have an assembly line set up.

Highly recommended!

Actually lived on the Wet Coast for a few years and am out there quite often and I find more rust issues with cars out there than here in the frozen northlands - must be the salt air and constant 100% humidity

does it matter if rust proofing is done when you first purcahsed your car or later on afterwards?

Well I can tell you that Krown does not offer a warranty unless you have started to rust proofing your car from them from 3 years or newer. The reason being is they said they don't know what has happened to the car in the first 3 years so they can't warranty even if you rust proof every year after. So that would lead me to believe the answer to your question is "yes" it matters when you rust proof.
