I heard starting from July 1, cops will ticket you for aftermarket exhaust? Anyone can confirm this?

they can't ticket you for an aftermarket exhaust as most OE manufacturers offer a "performance exhaust" of sorts... straight from the dealer...

lexus used to offer the HKS exhaust for the IS's, i have a TRD exhaust on my 4runner... purchased directly from the dealer!

I'm going to street legals this Friday...no problem if your car is "slow", there are plenty of really slow cars there, guys just out there to have some fun, and some serious guys who believe it or not can run high 8s in their minivan. They match you up with someone of your car's caliber so it won't be that bad. Or you can always just watch and have fun...bring some food and mosquito repellent.
