Default First mod = Fail

So after owning 3 SC400's (1992, 1995 and now a 1999) and constantly dreaming of modding, I took the plunge today and did my first mod. White license-plate lights. I wanted to upgrade my tail end to look that of the IS?50's, with a white LED lighting up the plate.
Well it didnt work out quite as I expected (although I guess now I can see how $20 Lordco LED's can be a disappointment) and the 'white' LED has a Honda-esque blue hue to it.. makes me look like a ricer

So my question is, how do I pull myself out of the grasps of ricing and find WHITE led's in Vancouver!?! lol..

They only look faintly blue in the pic; though maybe find some that are slightly more 'yellow' in an effort to not have blue?

edit! ask some1 w. a 2IS what kind of blubs they have and buy those

lol! I was actually thinking you should ask some1 who owns a 2IS and has messed around w. their bulbs.

Or call Regency back and talk to the guys at the parts counter. They know.

different manufactuers make different "white" looking leds.

ask to test the led to see what color light it omits, if they carry different colors of leds, ask for "soft white"

the owner of that store also is hidoutlet.ca
