Are enough people mobile to have some kind of meet?
I'm thinking nothing super big, evening meet maybe ... possible sushi or maylasian (like @ Tropika or Azia downtown) ... if we go downtown for a food thing we would have to do a Monday or Tuesday so there are places to put our cars.
I don't know how mobile everyone is, so let's hear it. I'm mobile (now) so I'm game; for me it's likely that the IS wouldn't show, it would totally be Rover (yes, I most unoriginally named him Rover).
haha, we can help each other push into the parking lot, and push out of it
give it at least a few more days til the snow is melted
that would be a hilarious photo though. u basically see each one of us stuck, and we have about 3-4 ppl help push the lead car into a parking stall. haha
I dunno about picking up everying in the Rover, gotta put the gear somewhere too
So, what do we want to do guys? Dinner, skiing, casino (I mean, we can clearly do all of them, but we should pick something for this meet)
... as for skiing/riding, which mountain? Cypress has the best runs but also the most expensive and furthest. Seymour has boring lifts but usually really good snow and it's not far. Grouse involves the gondola & it's the lowest altitude (therefore, the most ice). I vote against Grouse.
i'm down for river rock, food, - whatever - I'm still not sure about mountain this year...I'm being really f@#$ lazy.
anytime good for me-> as long as its not beg of February as I'm gone to Vegas for 10 days.
ooooo i love skiing!! i'm definitely down for it, as long as no school (Weds and weekends) for me the other day! cypress sounds the best to me, but i need a ride tho
^ love the obscure times you seem to be surfing CL.
Ok, so I don't actually own skis (funny considering where I work I know) so once my stores' demo fleet is up and running I'll get on the official meet planning for a ski/ride meet.
In the mean time, do we want to also plan a dinner & casino style meet? Or should we leave that for a later on in the spring time?
casino is not my cup of tea, but i don't mind going dinner "after" skiing. haha
or we can plan a dinner when there's no more snow, at least i can get my car out of my alley
I'm up for a meet once this snow clears...had to abandon my car on Oak Street tonight! The street was too icy and my car simply sucks in this weather. Trying to find a towing company to pick it up, which is also proving to be difficult....
