i could but i have an aquarium of a headlight

 

this is what i fear about opening my headlights ... especially since its so very wet here

 

some ppl stick those dry food silica packs into their headlight housings
some use hair dryer thru the socket hole
u can give that a try to see if they remove some of the condensation

 

that only solves the symptom not the actual problem ... you wanna do that w. ur lights every time it rains around here? ... ssoooo, every day in the winter? lol

 

i can't do that now that it is completely sealed (unlike before). I highly doubt that it's a bad seal, I think some moisture remains on the inside of the lens. they were actually fogging up at the revscene meet but cleared up at night...My solution: Get a new retro lol...spent too much time and munnay on this so i'm thinking of a way out lol.

i don't think it really messes up the system, and i don't think it really screws up the light pattern much. other than it looks butt ugly
