was heading out to richmond to have dimsum with friend + her mom, then went and caught district 9.

awesome movie! but be warned, 3/4 of the movie was shot by a guy with terette syndrome hands. the camera shaking made me puke!


and im happy to report, i fixed my fuel pump gas tank floater!!!!! it was caught on something inside the tank so even at full tank, my gauge read 3/4 =/ BUT its fixed now =D happy happy joy joy!!!

its ok, decent decore, food was ok... nothing to brag about. i personally still like top gun, but havent been there in over a year. dont even know if it exists.

there is also that kingsford place, corner of westminster and no3, up on the 2nd floor.

Too bad No. 9 in Richmond doesn't have a dimsum period, and too bad they don't open another restaurant, like in Coquitlam for instance. On the other hand, if they did, my weight might balloon up from 150 to 300 pounds.

We should get a Vancouver ethnic restaurant thread going - Indian, Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, etc... I have lots of tasty locales in and around town, as I'm sure everyone here has as well...

Might tie in nicely with the meets...

if u want late night dimsum, like at 2am, go to HKYK, on no3 road just before you hit cambie and just before you hit aberdeen center.

i saved my friends *** when the celeb he was doing security work for was hungry for some late night dimsum... Pierce Brosnan!!! yeah, mr james bond himself! sigh, i was out of town that weekend...

HKYK has dimsum? i thought they only do hot pot? great to know about brosnan, he's my favorite bond out of all of them.

and after that, at the same intersection, a black 2IS with chrome rims and red-out.
