I wish we have more aftermarket parts in town. My last project, 99 Solara,
I basically ordered all the parts from the state. And now, I ordered parts
from Sewell, Texas which came in today. And the funny thing is that the
parts were make in Ontario.

 

Don't you get charged a lot for border tax?

I think a lot of people do mod their cars. The people that I encounter and talk about this topic, most of the time they are not aware of the pros and cons of different mods and I try to explain the whole thing and giving them all the info that I know about it before spending a great deal of money to their own cars. I think most of us are very fortunate to be able to have the money to mod our own cars where some people like to mod their cars but don't have the extra disposable income because this is a very expensive hobby.

 

indeed it is an expensive hobby
i just spent 1500 on a new comp i built for myself
now im looking into suspensions and seems like after the comp, i can only afford a set of springs and shocks and not coilovers
