Default Leather Conditioner

I know there are a lot of threads on this in the detailing forums. I really want to give the lexus conditioner a try because it softens up the leather and doesn't make it shiny like that Armor All crap. Where can i buy this stuff, the dealer doesn't seem to have this product, they only have a toyota leather conditioner. Do you guys recommend any other conditioners that leave leather buttery soft thats available in toronto...

u could always try baseball leather softener for baseball gloves
but most of them tend to be greasy and needs to be on the seats for overnight

so it takes a while do it it
i would use leather cleaner first to clean it
then use the softener
then wipe it clean and apply conditioner to protect it

some ppl also use shaving cream or petrolleum jelly to soften up a baseball glove
but i dont know if any of these will help a lexus leather seat as the leather lexus uses are "sealed"

i have a bottle of lexol cleaner but i haven't used it yet... i've heard it does a good job and the conditioner doesn't leave the greasy look

i've also heard zaino does an equally good job...

My guess is that the "Toyota" conditioner has exactly the same ingredients as the "Lexus" conditioner.

I've been using Lexol products, which work fairly well and were recommended by a local leather repair shop. Frequent applications are needed to make and keep the leather soft. The other product that does a decent job is Connolly Hide Care Leather Conditioner. Although you probably won't find Lexol and Connolly at stores like Canadian Tire, they are widely available and you'll more likely to find them at upholstery repair or auto detailing shops.

I think the Sandalman Leathercare in Toronto sells Lexol. http://www.sandalman.com/

^ don't go to downtown auto spa to get lexol... i ordered during their boxing day sale, i got the cleaner but had to backorder the conditioner... march rolled around, still nothing and i kept checking w/ them every 2 weeks... finally they said they could not source a supplier and refunded my money...

surprisingly, the 'auto' store next to the food court at metro has lexol products (they might be old) and not for expensive either... i hvn't bought from them and probly would avoid the product cuz it looks kinda old... last resort

try www.carcaresmart.ca online place but it has a local pickup in burnaby at crystal mall somewhere... i think my brother has ordered some stuff from them
