Man, I'd have to buy a beater for days like that. Looks awesome though!

Its fun! Not terrible, I was use to my LX570 which was a dream, but surprising with Michelin Alpin PA4 its great until the snow is higher then the bumper then I just feel like a snow plow!

Beatsonic site:

By pressing the selector button, the front camera is displayed for the duration pre-set using the inbuilt programmable timer. The timer is programmable for 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec or timer disable (i.e. push on / push off). In addition, the front camera can be programmed to automatically display at speeds less than 9mph to assist when front parking.

I connected the VSS wire to it so when I am going slowly and under 9mph it turns on, just like my LX use to do.

The install is pretty straight forward, I had to cut some foam to place the unit somewhere as I couldn't find anywhere to place the unit, so I ended up beside the centre console behind the carpet beside the transmission tunnel. I had the same unit in my LX so it was a easy switch, everything is plug and play. I like Waze so much more then factory nav.

How tricky is it to get the strut bar to fit correctly on a +'17 model ?

Looks like you had to permanently remove the "caps" on top of the strut towers. Is the wire leading into it easily unplugged ?

I love the look of it but it seems it may be more trouble than what its worth.

It was easy enough, top caps removed, small clip holding the wire that easily disconnects, I need to figure a proper boot or something for the top....
