I am looking to change out the stock exhaust on my 2015 RC F. Want to still pass Texas state inspections but want to get more rumble from the engine and hopefully pic up alit more horsepower. Hoping to get some feedback from those of you who may have already did a swap. Audio clips would be beneficial. Particualry interested in places in Texas that can do the swap. Any help is appreciated. Happily at home.... On the lot just before I drove home.
I am going to say Invidia full catback exhaust. I love the tone, pitch, bass, loudness. Also, the fit, finish, quality with the titanium burnt blue tips is unbeatable.for the price.
p.s. First one is my video. Second one gives you a very good idea of how it sounds in various driving forms.
Anybody used Kinney's Muffler Shop in Fort Worth. They are installing a custom "Street Demon" cat back system. Online videos sound great. An example can be found here:
. Wondering how others think this sounds compared to the Invidia and Ark or other exhaust systems. Also, do people prefer 4" stainless trumpeted tips or powder coated black - or some other combination. Thinking of making the move in the next couple weeks and just trying to get any last minute input.

They sound great in videos. I have an Invidia full catback exhaust. The thing with the Kinney exhausts, they are straight piped without muffler. Also, they don't sell the exhaust online. You have to take the car to them in person. That is why they are not very popular. Some people argue, it is essentially a straight pipe exhaust for $2000+ so most people can go to a custom shop and get a full straight piped exhaust for a fraction of that. Again, that is all I know about the Kinney exhaust. Never spoken to an actual owner who bought it so hard to say how good it is in real life. I am super happy with my Invidia and could not ask for more based on what I expected.
As some of you may known, I had been considering changing the stock exhaust on my 2015 Lexus RC F to something a little more sporty. Today, I took that action. I traveled from Houston to Fort Worth to Kinney's Muffler Shop. Prior to a couple months ago, I knew nothing about Kinney's or Kirk Robinson, the owner. For way of background, Kinney's has been open for 42 years and owned by Kirk Robinson since 1996. Kirk has been working in the custom exhaust business since he was 16. Today, he helped me select a new system for my car. He walked me through several options, discussed the benefits of each. I already had some ideas on what I wanted by using Kinney's online video library, On Kinney's website, http://www.kinneysmufflershop.com/ki....com/HOME.html Kirk has uploaded hundreds of different videos of different cars with different exhaust systems. It allows you to get a real good feel for how your car will sound. After I finalized my selection on an exhaust system, Kirk showed me a number of different exhaust tips to get the best look. He has tons of options to choose from. I have to say, Kirk is extremely knowledgable and all of Kinney's staff were exceptional.
Attached is the video Kirk put together after the work on my car was complete.. The video of my car sounds good but the exhaust system is so much better in person. The video link for my car are as follows: https://www.facebook.com/Kinneys-Muffler-Shop-106484432708891/videos/292781748576936/ or
I have also included the video in an attachment incase the link doesn't work or you choose not to go through Facebook or Instagram. Hope you enjoy the video. Let m know what you think.
If you are considering an upgrade, I would consider Kinney's Muffler Shop in Fort Worth, Texas
