I can get good deals on most stuff at the local junkyard, but they have to be in a pleasant mood to go as low as $60 for a set of LS calipers. Less than half that is a screaming deal.

a little update.. nothing major.. i started using the wire wheel a bit..

i was going to paint the calipers... but im starting to feel this shiny finish from the wire wheels.. should i sand it smooth and just clear it?

first two pics were the early stages of the wire wheel..

these next two picture.. is basically the almost finished product.. i think it came out pretty good... just gotta get the edges and im almost done

been really busy lately.. going on my vacation june 6th.. i wont be home till july 11th.. so moddings has stopped a bit.. here are my last update before making my trip to Asia.. stopping in vietnam .. japan... thailand and australia.

my front pads were at like 1mm.. so i ended up installing my ls400 calipers... i had to cut and bend the shield a bit.. and shave some part of the caliper for it to fit..but overall easy to install no brainer. bolts on perfectly just a little modification... definitely stopping power is alot better

thats it for now on my 99 SC400.. in the mist of all this i purchased another SC on memorial day..

its a 99 sc300 with black interior here are some photos of it now until then stay tuned lol

Damn, someone threw the ricer kitchen sink at that 300! Giant wing, de-badged with pin holes left behind, aggressive body kit, big intercooler piping... That's leaving it all on the field.

People learn a lot more seeing the progression of one's build. That doesn't happen on FB where a lot of members here have gone or switched to FB.

No offense meant to anyone , but there are just too many a?sholes on the SC groups on FB . It is a cesspool . Many times, anything goes which makes them a very toxic environment. The loud mouths who most often don't really have nothing to show about their cars are the noisiest , criticizing people's car as though they know it all . But look at what they have , NOTHING really one can be proud of.
