Question What tires y'all run?

Hello,
I recently bought a lexus gs300 2001. I was wondering what tires you guys run. Looking for the most grip and nothing to expensive.

The best budget options for ultra high performance tires no matter what car you drive right now are Continental DWS06 or BFG Comp2 A/S. The BFGs have marginally more grip but the Continentals are significantly quieter and have better snow grip in my opinion. BFG is owned by Michelin so I think their Comp2 A/S tire must have a compound similar to the Pilot Sport tires because they have a crazy amount of grip.

I have Continental DWS on my GS400 and DWS06 on the SC430. Excellent handling in dry/wet weather (not much snow here in NC so not sure about that). Most importantly the tread wear life on these are amazing! Almost no discernible wear after 2 years. And they come with a 6yr/50k tread life warranty which means I won't have to replace them anytime soon. I went with these after reading reviews on TireRack.com. You do sacrifice a little in handling but I'm not taking my car to the track anytime soon.

This totally depends on what you want to do with them, and driving conditions. Here in Southern Cali I run Nitto NTO5s for handling. But they are a dry performance tire, and wear out quick. If you will be seeing rain, you are best with the Continental type tires mentioned. You need tread or its bad news for wet.
