Default Center console retrofit
Do I need to buy every part of a 2017 Lexus IS 300 center console to retro fit my 2014 Lexus IS 250? Do all the buttons on the 2017 console work once you retro fit it into the 2014?

Yes, but you can keep the shifter, boot and shift display.

Would the new 10 inch display work with the old radio? If it was possible to create a switcher between the radio and a wireless display adapter then people with the 7 inch only need to upgrade the display. I know beatsonic has one but I would much rather have one that covers the whole screen, not 3/4 of it.

I would think that a new radio is needed. The reason why is because of the resolution from the old radio is meant for 7” display vs the new radio and software is to display and split a 10.3” display

After 6 month wait, my front lip is finally here. Can’t wait to get it painted and installed.
