Do you have to cut into the seat to get to the occupancy mat?

I read that our cars also have sensors that determine how close the seats are to the airbags, which controls how fast the airbags deploy. Does anyone know if that is correct, and what results from removing that sensor?

Did you hard mount the passenger seat or use a slider?

You do not...the mat can be put back into the factory seat if need. There is just a wire grid on the bottom that you have to detach to pull the mat out.

5ltrv8, can you please double check on your resistor? From the color of your resistor that would be 2.2k ohm not 2.2 ohm. From the picture, I see (red, red, red, gold) . Please confirm and thank you!

Here is the link to resistor

E-Projects 10EP5122K20 2.2k Ohm...

Ignore the picture...I originally misordered 2.2k before I installed the seat originally and had to order 2.2...it’s 2.2ohm. 👍

I’m don’t know what I did wrong. Did you move over magnet sensor from oem seat?

If anyone needs an occupancy mat I have one since I sold my car and seats. That way you won't have to take apart your stock seat. Just shoot me a DM for price.

I look forward to seeing your track upgrades as well.

For the spoiler, there wasn’t too much reinforcing that had to be done due to the design of the trunk lid. I used large washers to help reinforce the mounting points, but I can say it works flawlessly at speeds upward of 140mph. I am going to snug all of the bolts down during the off season, so I will take some pictures when I do if the mounting points🏎
Did you ever happen to get pics of these? Said GTC-200 is finally going on for a full weekend at MSR Cresson in October, so still have some time to make sure it's done right/once.

Mine came w/the "universal" 29.5" riser spacing, which appears similar to yours... Mind checking? If not, I might sandwich the trunk lid underneath w/~4x8" aluminum plates and a ton of construction adhesive to be safe.

Very nice build👌 And I followed on insta as well. I like that comment on all bad ISFs are in Ohio. I wanted one while I lived there in Columbus most of my life but got deployed out to Cali so then I really got my hands on one cause they are in the numbers out here. Still not common but more here being sold then anywhere. I got a super nice build in mind as well coming back from this overseas deployment. Might hit you up a couple times on insta for thoughts as well since I’ll be tracking mine. One question I had was where do you buy those end plates as when I went to baero it won’t let me drop down there menu to see if they sell them??
