Nice! Those old Hyper Revs are a lot of fun to read through. The way people were modifying these in Japan when they first came out was very different from how they did it in the US, and later on when VIP became the primary style for the platform.

Exactly. I love going back and gaining ideas and just refining how this car is being built. You can pull knowledge from the pages almost like you’re there actually getting info from the builder. Just looking at all of the current tech and products and coupling that with some of the past I believe will keep GS tuners into their cars

My GS 300 looks so good at 96k miles. I just wish I could pick up a set of stiffer anti-roll bars.
most of all I need to pick a place and DRIVE somewhere…

Take a look at the TRD Sportivo bars! Excellent in their time and with the right supporting suspension components, it'll drastically feel better. Along with the proper bushings and alignment, tire choice, ETC.

Latest items that made it to the garage! I’ve never seen this coloration on the shifter trim and ashtray. I’d image most of it is from the sun and just Father Time but I had to have it! I’ll swap the interior US bezel into this one and trim it out for the R154 tripod shifter later. I had sourced all 4 arms and won 3 bids but I lost the last one while I was taking out the trash! I paid like 65$ I think for each one and they’re brand new so with the savings I’ll just buy the missing one through my employee discount lol

pics!

Been up since 5:30am trying to win this Greddy AFR gauge and man was it stressful. Lots of refreshing the screen but won in the end. I had the lead bid and 8min left got outbid so had to make a decision to pursue or throw the towel in. I really needed to finish up the dash and this did it. Brain fried…….I found these Durax 25mm spacers for the LS to get a little more stance on the wheels for when I put em on hopefully at the end of the month.

Figured it’s a great day to update the thread! Latest shipment arrived Friday so this morning I had some time to go and fit some stuff. FINALLY got the A/F ratio gauge and now my dash is complete! So excited about that because it came out exactly how I planned it to. Upper arms are so beefy and have a ton of adjustment in them and since I only have rear upper and lowers to go, I’m definitely on schedule to finish the suspension build this year. A new steering rack and TRD Sportivo bars will complete it all. Got the Aristo nav antennae in and this is just something that I want to challenge my mental on getting it all to work as it did in Japan. Of course it won’t navigate but I basically just want to power it on and get my 50’s-early 2k music through it lol

And even got the Durax Lexus spec spacers I needed to stagger the Cerberus wheels going on the LS soon. It pains me to say but I’m more than likely gonna throw some cheap CX Racing coilovers on it to slam it and try to make it to a car show to get back out on the scene. I’m not trying to bring a trophy home, just wanna ride and chill with some like minded people

PICS!

I'm curious, does the design of that upper arm not reduce the amount of space you have before it contacts the strut tower? I see that T-Demand has a similar design, but I can't wrap my head around it.

Yea I’ll have to get modded spindles for sure to get the ride height and travel correct and low as I want it to be. We’ll see how “temporary” these current Tanabe coilovers will be lol

Good breeze came through tonight so decided to go ahead and get the rear end out. Should make things way easier to get the arms and links on. Next I’ll order up the SerialNine bushings and paint this sucker! Work smarter, not harder

What did you use to support and lower it? I'd like to do the same at some point to get my bushings taken care of.
