Default 2013 GS350 AWD with Luxury package

I have made a few small changes to my car and wanted to keep it documented here.

The car is a Starfire Pearl on Flaxen 2013 GS350. It is AWD with the luxury and cold weather packages. I picked it up in November of 2016.

First up was the L-Style front lip from BaysonR on Ebay. The fit was pretty good since it was designed for an F-Sport bumper. I also switched over the front and rear Lexus "L" emblems to the Hybrid version for the blue detail in the background. De-badged the back end and installed an OEM spoiler. Since this is a daily driver I had some OEM mud guards sent over from a Lexus part re-seller in Japan.

I was down in Florida on vacation and stopped in at Vossen to see what they had to offer. The VLE-1 was always something that caught my eye because of its design and limited production run. I picked up a set and got them powder coated in maple metallic, as it turns out it is a really difficult color to capture in photos. Specs are front at 20 X 9 ET +32 with 235/35 tires. Rears are 20 X 10.5 ET +45 with 275/30 tires. Rims are production number 271 of 400.

It has also been lowered on Tanabe NF210 springs and an SPC rear camber kit.

The mirror cap was damaged from the previous owner, a new OEM part was ordered in and installed.

After owning the car for a while I really started hating the wood steering wheel and interior accents. I picked up an all leather heated wheel from a forum member and installed it. It was from a GS450H model and everything was plug and play. Lots of plugs but overall a straightforward install.

I also ordered some 3M 1080 carbon fiber wrap for the trim pieces. It is a slow work in process but the results are excellent.

The wrist rest on the center console always looked cheap to me. I just received a perforated black leather piece to wrap this in. Currently looking for some thin foam to put under the leather for comfort. The OEM part was covered in something that was very difficult to remove, I had to use a wire brush to clean it and the glue off for a smooth surface to work with. Picture of it stripped down to bare plastic.

I need those mud guards! Any info you can DM me about that reseller? Did you paint them or were they already painted?

A little maintenance update. Updated the 2013 fog lights to the newer 2014+ LED versions, totally plug and play. The old ones were in terrible condition and always bothered me. The fact that they didn't match the headlights was an eyesore as well. 4th picture shows the comparison between the two.

Did the first of 3 drain and fills on the AWD transmission. Very easy to do, took longer to get on the lift then to do the actual work. 24MM drain plug had a reusable gasket, the 17MM drain had a crush style gasket that was replaced. Ill snap some pictures of this when I do the next drain and fill in a week.

Car looks awesome. Did you install the front splitter and spoiler yourself? Is the spoiler drilled or taped down?

Yes, I installed both myself. Front is a mix of screws through the bumper ans some of the factory mount points. The spoiler is just 2 sided tape but is supposed to have holes drilled. I trimmed back the screw mounts to avoid this, no way I am drilling into my trunk for this little light weight spoiler.

How is the spoiler and lip holding up, any issues?
