those are traction bars, they are a stock component on your suspension. The ones here are upgraded to be adjustable and feature heim joints for more strength, once you lower your car you throw off the geometry of the links so having ones that can be adjusted will help get car into the spec you want. Figs engineerng, truhart and megan racing all make camber, toe, traction and upper links for the gs350

and the other red parts are the lower control arm, same idea upgraded to offer more adjustability and strength.

So they are only required when the car is lowered, and don't offer any handling advantage on stock height cars?

they would be stronger and since it replaces the stock links which have bushings and now you'll have a firmer suspension but you would want to buy coil-overs before the links as that would be a better suspension upgrade first, then as you slam the car you'll need more adjustability in the links to stay in spec
