Default Sikky ISF Baseline Track & Dyno Testing

So we just finished up the video from our baseline testing on our ISF. We decided to test the car at the track and on the dyno to get a full view of the power its making and how the car works.

Stock the car threw down 359rwhp and 348rwtq (completely stock ~110k miles).

Cecil County Dragway is only 40 minutes from our shop, so we decided to run up there after work one night to get some real world testing in. We decided to make two passes with the car stock to get feel for it. Best pass out of the two was a 12.96 @ 110.56 mph which we were pretty happy with overall. The other pass was a 13.01 @ 110.89 mph so we felt we had a pretty solid baseline for the car. Both passes were made with the car at operating temp, to minimize any variables.

We then installed one of our Sikky ISF Intake Tubes at the track to see if the car would pick up anything. Once the intake was installed we let the car idle in the lanes to keep the car at roughly the same temperature as what it was for the first two passes. The car ended up running a 12.77 @ 111.24 on this pass. Shaving .19 seconds off of the time and gaining .35 mph (off of each of the baseline passes).

Keep posted for more videos as we work through the project. We've got a header installation video and track testing coming out here shortly!

Very Nice, not bad for a car with 100k miles on it! What type of tires were on the car when you guys got it?

Road and Track data sheet said 12.8 @ 113.3mph and 0-60 in 4.4seconds (attached to post)

and

Road and Track comparison data sheet said 12.6 @ 113.8 and 0-60 in 4.2 seconds (attached to post)

I could believe this car might have gone 113 or so 100k miles ago. We wanted to get a baseline on the car how it is though so we can base all of our tests off of these times. We're going to try to use the same track, driver, and amount of gas in the tank to again minimize any variables.

That is correct. We came back from the pass, swapped out the intake and went straight back to the lanes.

Just for that particular shot. After we made the initial dyno pulls we started messing around in other gears to see how it affected it. I think we made like 12 dyno pulls when actually filming that shot.

I didn't really notice much of a difference sound wise personally. However everything was pretty muffled with the helmet on and then the boss stole his car back when we left the track.

What would explain the time difference between stock and the Sikky intake? I thought the intake was not very restrictive.
