I just put my hood on a week ago. I am also torn between exposed carbon and paint match. the carbon looks so clean that its hard to think of covering it up, but the paint matched hood looks a lot cleaner imo. I think ill keep it carbon until the end of spring. looking good keep up the build!

Install was easy! I did it myself in 20mins except for the windshield wiper fluid I have to drill a hole out to run the rubber lines through, still need to do that lol. Fitment was spot on also and you will definitely notice the weight difference eternal picking up the both
^^^Looks Great! I thought of painting mine also for a cleaner look. But I already invested enough money into the hood alone. In fact to have this hood shipped to Canada with exchange rate, taxes and duty, I probably paid double what you guys pay in the US. Oh well, I know the game, you gotta pay to play! Painting the hood or leaving it full carbon is purely subjective and I may opt to just leave as is

Yeah I highly doubt it adds power. Purely for looks on this one I'm sure. I'd love a full blown TI exhaust to shed some weight, but will have to settle for a little titanium under the hood
