Default GS300 Plans

Hi all, I just purchased my 2002 Lexus GS300 with 57,000 miles off Craigslist yesterday. It has some small dings and dents. Clean title although the previous owner hit a car so the passenger's fender is slightly lifted up and scratched.

My plan is to VIP it and would love some guidance to get me to the right direction.

Future mods are:
-Paint it black
-JP kit
-Air Bags
-Kranze Bazreia wheels (19x9 front and 19x10 rear +15 maybe?)
-Retro fitted Q45 headlights
-LED tail lights
-Small interior and exterior mods

Right now I just don't know where to start. Also, should I get new fenders or just have the body shop get them fixed when I get it painted?

Default Suspension!

Always start with your suspension first like bags, arms, rods, and what not. That way you can get wheels that will fit your suspension. It's not that big of a deal with the 2gs though since they have big wheel wells but I would start with the bags. If you plan on installing a sound system it would be great to do the air system first so you can work around it.
I am also doing an m45 retro lol, I'll be putting halos in as well. But full led tails first (a couple weeks).

Thanks! Yeah, I'm leaning towards that first. Maybe wheels next but I need to fix my fenders. If I get my fenders fixed then I might as well get my car painted too lol. One thing just leads to another.

You could always leave the fenders for a while lol unless they,re going to rust. If you're thinking of a body kit I would hold off on the paint so you can just paint your car and kit at the same time to have the perfect color match. If you're going to stay stock body kit then paint whenever you want.

I just ordered my air suspension and decided to go with Air Lift. I also got my LED tail lights so hopefully these get installed by next month. Pics will be posted once installed.

Also, does anyone know where I can get a 2nd gen GS300 Junction Produce kit? It seems impossible to find nowadays or I'm just not looking at the right place.

When I click on this is says "You have exceeded the maximum order value." Might work you you though. That's directly from the site.

This one is $800 cheaper but takes a lot longer to ship.

CL thread talking about JDM Palace, seems like a good site. Old thread but there's contact info on there as well.

Thanks! I hear the owner of JP is forced to sell his product line and the word is we don't know if he's still making more kits or if they will ship in time.
Although I did this today:

Small mod but makes it look so much cleaner. I had to do something while I wait for my bags and tail lights.

Andysautosports is very poorly reviewed as well, I'd avoid them all together. Definitely look for genuine parts rather than knockoffs and be wary of who you buy from.
Best advice I can give is to take your time and do your research. Do it right the first time and it'll save you in the long run it, sounds like you're off to a good start!

Super nice find! And you're starting in a great direction.

I recently bought a gs300 with super junk fenders. I waited about 6 months and found a parts car. Paid $50 for a fender then just installed myself.

Check out VIP'D OUT for VIP acc

Good luck man. Look forward to seeing your build.

Thanks for all the response! Hopefully I get my bags soon and I am still on the hunt for the JP kit. For now my eyes are on these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262909466521...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Does anyone know if this is legit and if it would fit my GS? It says it's for RHD...
