We don't have enough quantitative data to confirm this. 2000 miles so far and no issues......... Driven it hard for the past 1000 miles. I also have had two supras (still have one) with 880 HP and 400+ HP with no issues on the stock engine. But i have also had friends blow their supra engines with 500 HP. Too many variables.

We have a track day coming up at Pocono Raceway on May 21st... we will have both the Supercharged RCF "Red Devel" and Supercharged ISF "Blue Devil" at the track, and we will try to get them on the track at the same time, with lots of video, so stay tuned.

It looks like from the top that the SC belt is rubbing on the second T Silicone tubing from the throttle body,
the same tubing is also connected to the blow off valve as well and runs below. The assumption here is that it may have sliced a slit or hole in the tubing thus losing pressure. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow because I have to remove the skid plate to see underneath to confirm this is the issue. When the car went into limp mode, of course the check engine light, traction control lights came on as well. Luckily I was down the street from my house so I ended up pushing the car which was a little over a 1/4 mile, thankfully a police officer escorted me with his lights on, but didn't get out to help push lol.

Got home connected the OBD to pull the codes, then my lithium ion battery died smh, got a ride to the auto parts store got a lithium ion charger and charged the battery to 100%. I was skeptical to turn the car over, but I figured let me just turn the ignition on without putting my foot on the brake and cranking the car up... Mind u once the battery died and I charged it then cranked the car with my foot off the brake the nav said software downloading...The ECU reset itself thus taking the car out of limp mode so I figured let me turn it over to see if 1.) It will start up -or- 2.) If the check engine light and traction control lights would come on again. Lo and behold she cranked up, no check engine light no traction control light, connected OBD and it showed 0 codes. While this seemed like a breakthrough it was a blessing and a curse at the same time. Now I would never know what codes threw when the car went into limp mode, so the only thing I have to go off off is the SC belt rubbing on the tubing and the belt being eaten up. I've noticed small amounts of belt shreds in my engine bay near the pulley since the install, but there was no visible damage to the belt at that time. I think Jason the installer did not align the pulley correctly and ran the belt entirely too close to the tubing... I know the SC kit is a tight fit, but the belt should never be that close to where its rubbing on the tubing.

Rafi is working along side me because he stands behind his products and he's a great engineer and friend. He sent me out a new belt and the second T silicone tubing so I'm hoping that it's an easy fix. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow and Rafi is going to walk my tech through the process. Hard to sleep... I'll keep u guys posted. Some parts of the SC belt is worse
This is hard to distinguish, but thats the second T silicone tubing which is runs from the throttle body and BOV and runs down behind the radiator
Sorry to hear this.

Know when my installer Lee did mine he spent almost a full day checking and re-checking the clearances to ensure nothing was too close or rubbing, it's a tight fit, but should be able to get enough clearance to avoid the belt catching anything.....

Hopefully it's just an alignment issue that you can correct with relative ease.

Keep us posted, and best of luck!

Cheers.
