I very much value quality, reliability and durability as my car tastes evolve. Lexus delivers these characteristics in spades. Their attention to detail is incredible; unmatched in the industry imho. Heritage? Screw it. Overrated. I live in the present for the future.
Now over a year & 11K miles in, my notes reveal that the atkinson-enabled, direct+port injected, ti-valved, forged con-rodded 5 liter engine is silky smooth across the rev range. The NA V8 snarls when you want it to snapping up torque converter locked upshifts and downshifts as fast as your competing DCTs without the crawl speed oddities. Set it in ECO and the coupe can coddle you in conf calls all day meeting-to-meeting. Radar cruise makes intra-state driving a dream. LFA dev sourced CF roof/spoiler add that racy touch. Add to all this the gundam aesthetic w/ the tri-beamed LED projector lit eyes that makes a bold statement at any angle day/night = you've won me over.
I tend to switch cars often so we'll see how much longer the RCF holds my attention. If there's any specific feedback for Lexus, my hope is they continue to improve their F line by offering more out of the box suspension adjust-ability. I'm not talking about air suspensions. I'm speaking more to alignment and even height adjustments so our hands aren't forced to play in the aftermarket since the F ecosystem is comparably tiny relative to its competition. Give to us added luxury since the RC is really a GT coupe more in lines of an Aston Martin. Even the M4 offers a fully stitched leather dash plus door uppers. These make a huge difference in added interior ambiance. Give us that alcantara headliner. Compete better when it comes to interior electronic accouterments. You don't have to be the best because I use my smartphone for the most important jobs, but please compete. Give the lazy, M/AMG brainwashed naysayers one less thing to whine about. Do not waver from the aggressive design language that is very Japanese. Let the Europeans do what they do. Stick to what you do as the #3 economic power on Earth today.
Thanks for taking a look!

You're car looks great!
I was admiring the pic from the black window trim thread other day, thinking that your car's color is awesome with those black wheels.
Really clean!
How you like the ohlins?
I contemplated getting ohlins but was unsure of Figs using the oem rubber top mount. Thought it may be a compromise on noise vs getting max response.
Or did you get optional aluminum ones?
Penske going on mine this weekend. Hopefully noise won't be too bad...
Best of luck going forward.

KW pros are it's a reputable brand so you know what you're paying for and they developed a kit for the RCF which is surprising given super low sales volume. Cons, if you can call it that, is they reuse the rear top hats, but then there's nothing wrong with the factory parts. You don't have direct lines of communication with KW since they are a German firm. With FIGS, you have the machined rear hat option. If you have questions or issues, you can call the owner in Colorado. Mike @ FIGS is a nice guy and want his business to succeed since he supports Lexus cars almost exclusively. Both vendor products offer a ton of adjust-ability so you can dial in the ride you want with time, money and patience. I set mine to feel similar to OEM while running +1". I might've tightened up the rebound a bit more to minimize up travel at high speed fwy driving.

Those are the specs that Forgeline and I worked on together. Forgeline was awesome at bringing in a demo RCF to take the proper measurements. I actually had them cut me the fronts, again, because they tucked in a little more than I liked. I'm extremely particular about having the wheels/tires sit as flush as possible without conceding the OEM experience of worry free driving. As you can see, I'm lowered aggressively. My setup does not rub. At all. No cutting. No rolling. No running skinnier than stock rubber. So don't believe the hype unless you're close to my figures and tire sizes. Lots of clown brands out there, sorry to say, and suckers who support the circus freak show.
Vendors like Forgeline and HRE are legit. I wouldn't buy a set of wheels from anyone else.
I went to BBI, but honestly feel West End does as good or better work. I really like the owners of both shops, but West End lives breathes suspension whereas BBI has other ambitions and markets itself as a Porsche 911 specialist. Thanks for helping me decide on the Rowen side blades!
