Default [WAAA] - Hyper Camry v2.0

Hey Everyone,
My name is Phil and i'm from Auckland, New Zealand.

After owning my 1998 JZX100 Chaser for 6 years I finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to an IS-F - (something I had always planned, just couldn't afford to!).
Some of you may recognise my old car from The Smoking Tire and the IS-F now runs the same plates: Toyota Chaser: The 4 Door Sleeper Supra of Our Dreams - TST in NZ - YouTube

I bought my New Zealand new 08' IS-F in March, sold the Chaser in May and the journey begins from there:

The X Force mufflers were way too tame, didn't give the car that real V8 bark. It did sound good but took a lot of the unevenness which I had yearned for! Safe to say these new rear mufflers make a hell of a noise, especially on cold start!

Awesome! I remember watching those Smoking Tire videos from their trip to NZ (including yours) and thinking you guys must have a really active community over there. Great looking F, by the way!

Edit - do you happen to know the make of the side skirts/diffusers?

Welcome to the forum, Phil.

That's quite a comprehensive set of modifications you've performed. Well done, sir.

Did the flowmaster mufflers have dual outlets?

Hey Dennis,
The tips are centre in centre out and single outlet unfortunately. I did however mount them central to the two outlets so at least both tips would get dirty! Lol.

Surprising fact, the xforce mufflers are the same with single outlets too!

Thanks a lot mate, your car has been a very close source of my inspiration. Nothing beats something clean but yet aggressive and tastefully modified!
Exterior: hood vents, novel fender ducts and maybe a small pinstripe or lower door decal to break the silver up
Interior: carbon steering wheel, some Bride Euro II's
Motor: headers, tune and maybe a bit of giggle gas for good measure

Removed the tips, painted the backings matte black and the tips metallic aqua, similar to cusco blue.

Thanks mate, yeah it's completely transformed the engine bay. Simple but give the boring engine bay a bit more kick. I'm actually in talks with a friend about getting them redone in a prismatic / spectrum silver so watch this space

So yesterday a good friend relocated from his old workshop so it was only fitting to say goodbye with a farewell skid!
Nothing beats touching 6th gear on the spot!
