hotdawwgman's 1999 Lexus LS400 Build thread part 2
Hey guys... I am Mark, Some of you may remember me, most of you may not. Wasn't a LS400 owner for too long...
I first got involved with Club Lexus back in 2012 when I bought this 1995 LS400
I currently have a 2012 Infiniti G37 Sport that's modded tastefully IMHO..
This is from this past Saturday at Spocom Anaheim 2016.
I recently picked up this 1999 Lexus LS400 A little over a week ago.
First Stop after buying this LS
First thing First, Detail the heck out of this car,
Second Step... Preventative Maintainence... Timing Belt/ Starter/ Tune-up Service
Cheap A$$ Repair from previous owner
More to come on my 254k 1999 Lexus LS400

Well today was Productive... I changed my In-Cabin air filter along with my Air Filter.. Then I changed out my Coolant Temp Sensor...
Crazy, I am confident this was the original cabin filter. All 254k miles.. My cars A/C Volume is much better and takes less time to cool the car down now.....
Crazy how quick the car is now. I can now light em up from a dead stop and the trans kick down is definitely quick. Car pulls much harder...

we're very close on mileage!! mines at 258k and its a 1998. check out my build thread.
Did you do the timing belt/water pump service by yourself? I need to do mine, was last done at 100k.
BTW, also check my build thread on how to clean your air mix path. There is a picture i posted that helps a lot
I replaced all my o2 sensors and was still getting the P0420 & P0430 codes, but once i cleaned my air mix path correctly, they both disappeared.
