I wouldn't consider my GS400 mods a "build" per say but that's what all the kids are calling it these days

Black on Black 2000 GS400 Platinum

Bought it bone stock with 178K from a MB dealership in Chantilly, VA nice people but not Lexus fans per say ha ha. It needed some work, valve cover gaskets etc...but majority of other work was already done by previous owner. Timing belt is due soon will do that next and new pads/rotors.

I bought it on January 30th and got wheels and put them on yesterday so just under 4 months.

I know you're never "done" with mods but that's it for me right now. May do a spacers up front to push out wheels about 10mm. This is just a weekend cruiser, I have a Tacoma for work (company car). Supra is work in progress. Anyway on to pics.

Looking good! I'm not usually a fan of dark face wheels but these pull it off nicely.

 

Me either but the gunmetal face with black lips changed my mind lol. May even get same combo done for Supra.

 

Nice looking good . I picked up a similar one black on black 2000 platinum GS300 though 11 months ago from a trade in at my job to daily. Your pics are going to make me want to throw a drop and wheels on it.

Those wheels look perfect, would you mind telling me specs? I just picked up a gs430 on saturday and have been hunting for the perfect wheels... the drop looks perfect as well!!

how do the rsr coilers ride?

 

Not bad I need to make some adjustments but I barely drive the car.

 

Haven't done much to the GS lately, retinted it including 40% on full windshield, installed RMM grill, and it has full catback including changed muffler tips. Quick pic I took just now with the garage mate
