Default melymel96 2013 F Sport Build

Well its been a while since I got my 2013 F Sport. We ran into some bumps along the road but things are starting to finally come in and so I thought it would be a good time to start a build thread.

First here are some pictures of the care at the dealership:

So the first mod that was done was having the roof top painted black. Kennedy over at Platinum VIP is doing all the work on the car. He does a great job. There is a slight white pearl in with the black. You an notice it a little bit in the pictures.

All done with the roof. Again great job by Kennedy.

Next phase is the wheels. These bad boys just came in. 22" Platinum Bi-Directional wheels. We will dry mount them next week to make sure everything fits well and will clear the Rotora BBK.

Thats it for now. Body kit was just loaded onto the ship in Japan and should be here in the next 2-3 weeks. The way everything is falling into place from timing perspective the car may go in for a week and have everything done to include wheels, BBK install, and full body kit. I'll post more pictures as things progress. Definitely looking forward to seeing how this all comes out.

Great progress and I do remember that roof paint you posted about which was awesome. Everything seems to be moving along quite nicely. Can't wait to see how the wheels look after all mounted and installed. From what I can tell it's gonna be one sick ride!

So went in today to dry fit the wheels and brakes. Ran into a small issue with the brake mount not fitting as the 2013 has some extra metal on the ear. I didn't want to get it shaved today as I need to get some warranty work done on the stock Brembo's first so I'll have to get that done next week.

Rotora BBK - Been sitting around collecting dust for 5 months.

Rear Rotor - Need to get the hubs re done. Looks like some car cleaning chemicals did some work.

The wheels from an offset perspective are perfect. Only thing left to check is to make sure the front wheels clear the Rotora BBK. They fit with the stock Brembo's for now.

You think any stretching + camber is involved or the offset is that close it fits just right without further modifications?

Also I was always curious about the whole roof black idea on a white car... so when or if you ever decide to get a roof spoiler, would that be painted white or black?
