well..mine are floating but they don't make "noise".
The pinging they're talking about must be so low that you can hardly hear it.
I come off the track after 30 minute sessions and I don't hear anything.
But mine are Griodisc and not RB.

Interesting! I have only heard it once so far out of the 300 miles I have driven it.

Just got new CF overlay parts:

-Carbon Fiber Side Mirror Overlays

---With Front View: I might have to wrap the Side Mirror Stems/Neck gloss or matte black

---With Side View, it looks pretty good since it matches the other CF pieces... We will see... Mingofish has his side mirror stem/neck as his oem paint...

-Carbon Fiber Shark Fin Antenna Overlay

Fahd,
where did you get the roof "fin" overlay?
Never seen that. Does it diminish reception?
The cf pattern runs opposite of the oem roof pattern... Guess most people wouldn't notice.

btw I took off the carbon mirror covers on my car. Didn't like how it didn't cover the whole mirror. Never got around to blacking out the inside panel.
Gonna have the shop that's doing my hood do some additional parts for me. May have them do the mirrors too. Trying to decide still.

Thanks! They are actually ***** for Non-Mark Levinson cars. You can check your lexus dealer part dept or other oem lexus website stores.

@Build Thread:
I just got new/slightly used Racing Brake 2pc Rotor Set for Front and Rear from a friend who has a White RCF. I recommend to get them via Figs since he has better customer service than the direct manufacturer of brake rotor goodies. I got my Endless MX72 Brake Pads installed as well. They grip really good. No squealing on hard breaking. Slight squealing on very light braking. I don't mind squealing since I'm used to the OEM. I rather have good grip with some squealing than quiet but less stopping power for a heavy car. But with lighter weight mods, it should be a lot better. Faster launch and stops quicker than stock.

My Used Front Stock at 12,700 miles: 33 lbs

----
New Racing Brake 2pc Rotor: 26 lbs

---
My Used Rear Stock Rotor @ 12,700miles: 23 lbs

---
Racing Brake Slightly Used Rear 2pc Rotor: 16 lbs

---
My Weight Savings are not the same as comparing New OEM vs New Racing Brake Rotors:
===Front : 33 lbs - 26 lbs= 7 lbs each x 2 = 14 lbs
===Rear : 23 lbs - 16 lbs = 7 lbs each x 2 = 14 lbs
Losing those extra weight made my car lighter and faster at launching than before since the wheels can spin faster.
---
Endless MX72 Brake Pads for RCF: Front has no problems with brake pad sensor placement. However, the Rear brake pad sensor design is located on the bottom portion which was hard to reach. They should've placed it higher. There was not a lot of cord to be pulled but it's in place.

Great write up on the RB rotors, thanks!! Don't know how this post never came up when I searched Racing Brake on this forum. I just got here by happenstance as I was interested in the Protekt skid pads. I agree best to deal with Figs directly (though i haven't yet, Mike at figs seems to get big kudos on this forum), the guy over at Racing brake (the direct manufacturer) was so rude over the phone it was like he didn't want to be bothered. I was so shocked in this day and age to come across such terrible customer service. What a pity since I believe Racing Brake makes such an amazing product. Did you choose the endless pads mainly because you can retain OEM sensors? Someone on this board recommended G-Loc pad which seem pretty impressive. Thanks again!
