Figured i start a build thread and combine all my threads.




I sold my ISF a while ago and saved up some money anticipating the release of the RCF. I Picked her up at San Diego Lexus. Want to thank the team at San Diego Lexus especially Joel and Ben. As always with Joel and Ben, my car buy experience was awesome and I plan on doing more business with them. They made sure I was happy and didn't pressure me at all. I honestly was gonna wait till the track one came in, but fell in love with this one when they took me on a test drive. I also want to that Flipside909 for all the help! I usually only buy grey cars but decided to change it up. I feel like I'm driving my old ISF a little, but a super updated version. Theres really no need for me to review the car cause there are tons of them.

Just wanted to share pics for those interested to see how the Varis kit looks on a black car. The kit fits perfectly with no modifications. Varis designed this lip kit with so much attention to fit and finish. AMAZING product. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the kit. Ive also ordered the hood and that shall be here soon. I purchased everything from Bulletproof Automotive in SoCal. They deal with a lot of high end cars and had great reviews from my GTR and EVO friends so i decided to do business with them. They are also the only North America Varis Dealer. Really honest people and excellent customer service. I visited them at the shop and felt really comfortable and welcomed. This was a plus from me, because I've visited other shops and wasn't treated very good. Ive became good friends with the Bullet Proof team and feel like they are more than just a shop to me. They kept in contact with me informing me about updates about the kit, which was awesome. When there was a issue they took care of it promptly and made sure i was satisfied. Took about 6 months but so worth the wait. I also purchased the LEMS intake, battery tie down and Blitz drop in filter from them to.

Could of gone with a wider tire front and back but wasn't sure about the clearances.
Probably gonna add a 5mm from and back.

Added some VARIS brake pads up front. They stop about the same as stock. Not as much dust...... so far.




Added that RR racing bushing thingy. Big difference in handling in my opinion. Feels even more stable at high speed and braking. Will update after alignment and hard drive sometime later on.

 

Added that oil air thingy from RR racing.

 

Just wanted to share my recent pick up from Bo @ Bulletproof Automotive. As always awesome service and great to work with. The exhaust took a little more time than expected primarily due to Tokyo Auto Salon, but no big deal. Quality is superb. I got the complete Titanium exhaust system which includes the mid pipe with no resonators and the axle back with the gold ring tips. One could purchase the mid pipe and axle back separately also. Included in the boxes are misc gaskets and a set of Toyota OEM gaskets for the axle back to midpipe section. The entire system uses the factory bolts. It fits like factory. I have TVD and it cleared it no problem. Was a perfect fit. I never weighed the exhaust, but i can tell you it has to be a 40lb+ total difference compared to stock.

Ill get a video or something soon. For being without resonators, the drone is minimal to non existent at high way cruising. Its honestly quiet while the rpms are down. But screams at high RPM. Has a really distinct tone. Doesn't sound like anything I've herd on a RCF.

 

Added a Aimgan Roof spoiler. I ordered a CF one a while ago and I guess they don't make it in CF. So they guys at bulletproof made me it in CF. EXCELLENT fit and finish.

 

Nice! Need to get some videos of that exhaust up. How much was that roof spoiler?

 

This is my favourite RC F.

The non-carbon aimgain roof spoiler cost me ~$700cdn, still have to get it painted too. The carbon looks killer!

 

One of my favorite RCF's and love the new exhaust! Also glad to hear you had good experience with BP Automotive, I'm about to order a few parts from them.
