Without labor cost's probably $13,000. Car cost $8500 at the auction but they have a buyers fee that's percentage based and it was $600. Then you have to have delivery because you cannot drive it. I spent $9600 by the time it got to my door, then parts so far around $3500. But it was only $3,500 because I bought the donor car for around the same price. I take the parts that I need off the donor car and then I can part out the rest of the car and make $5000-7000
You have to take in consideration it's a rebuilt title when I am done, now most people won't touch it because with rebuilt cars it all depends on who rebuilt the car. Typically the resale value will not be the same as a clear title car. We have a reputation and we have been doing this for 30 years. It's hard to keep the doors open for 30 years if your doing crappy work, so we are able to sell the car's a lot quicker.
