Default Michael's 2000 GS 400 Platinum Build Thread

Hey everyone! I picked up a 2000 GS 400 Platinum Edition a few weeks ago. This is my second 2GS and third Lexus vehicle that I have owned. I love the GS! I've owned a 98 GS 300, 2006 GS 300, and now this one. They are the most beautiful cars. I will be tracking mods done to my car here. So far I've added a Tanabe Super Down Precedeo lowering spring kit. Plan on adding a front lip, new/bigger wheels, and rear spoilers.

Nice glad to see you back in the 2gs. Is it just me or does the front look a lot lower than the rear

Yes, it actually is lower in the front. The drop is 1.3" in the rear, and 1.8" in the front. Used Tanabe Super-Down Precedeo lowering springs. Of course now, I wish I would have held out for coilovers. But I do like the stance on it though. I purchased the front lip spoiler but when I did a test fit, it was only about 3" from the ground. I plan on putting some 19" or 20" wheels soon, so I'm hoping it brings the front up a little bit.

Good luck with a lip. My bumper is about 4 inches off the ground and its a pain getting in and out of some parking lots and on alignment racks.
