Building an IS350 6MT
hows the RPM’s at like 80mph? Acceleration night and day difference? Would it be similar to a 6AT is250 with the stock final drive ratio, but the rpm’s similar to how it is when driving in 5th gear in the 6 speed automatic is250?

Its pulling hard but.nonexisstent 1st gear cuz its super short. So far its for city driving. 60mph almost 3k rpm on 6th gear which means max 120mph if not less topspeed. But with a shortshifter its running through gears like nothing you can change gears all the time and its engaging. I might go back to 4.1 or smthing but atm i am doing supporting mods like joeyz shaft bracket maybe different disc connection between diff and drive.shaft etc...

What flywheel did you use for your build, and does the stock 4GR flywheel work? What did you do for the clutch? Does the upgraded ECU read it? I've read the whole thread so far, but again, I just want to verify these things. Also, did any of you guys swap over the cluster, and should I swap over the diff from the 350?
Also, do you know if the 2GR's transmission would work with the 4GR? I was thinking of possibly swapping everything I needed and selling the donor as a runner.
Sorry for continuing the older thread, but I'll start a new thread if I go through with the project.
Would love to hear from any of you who've finished the swap.
