I went to go visit the guys at SerialNine yesterday to get my rear fenders shaved and the car lowered 1/4" all around. They did a great job and the stance is perfect. I added a 20mm spacer in the rears for a more street inspired look, it lines up with the shaved fender just perfect, with zero rubbing. Cell phone pictures for now but I'll get professional pictures taken soon.

Couple of updates for the Winter...

My radiator decided to blow up the other day. It was the factory rad, not bad for 18 years! Replaced the rad, thermostat and rad cap. The engine has been squealing during cold starts so the serpentine belt has been replaced as well.

Picked up a set of Q45 projectors. These are by far the best looking projectors, even if they don't perform as well as the LS or RX projectors. They look awesome in person and are a lot bigger than I thought they would be

Also picking up an LSD pumpkin from an automatic Supra TT. Final drive of 3.76. I literally can't wait to put this in. Since I installed the high stall torque converter, my cars been all over the place with anything over 1/4 throttle. It'll be interesting to see how the acceleration has improved after I get this installed

I'll post an acceleration video once the LSD is installed.

The LSD is installed. Initial thoughts, the car revs higher at speed and accelerates much faster. Rear wheel traction is improved between both wheels but the rear end is much more lively due to the higher gears, I haven't given it the full beans yet but will try if it dries up around here soon.

At the shop, about to get on the lift

LSD in

Had some nice weather got a shot of the rear end in

Went into the shop to get some exhaust upgrades. Also got the motor mounts replaced.

Ordered a Megan Racing Y-Pipe for the SC430. I needs to be extended to fit on the GS.

Extension welded in

Replaced the factory cats with Magnaflow hi flow cats. Flanges were cut off the old cats and welded on to the ends of the Magnaflows.

Cats and Y-Pipe in

Both OEM motor mounts were broken. Look at them!

Megan Racing motor mounts

The exhaust now consists of the high flow cats, Megan Y-Pipe, deleted resonators into Bltiz Nur Spec Mufflers. Sounds wicked during acceleration, I'll post a video of it soon.

Next up is an SRT intake/ECU and some more general maintenance to get ready for the Summer.

Looks good man! How do you like the megan y pipe?
I heard the diameter is bigger than stock so I've heard you lose some lowend tq.

Any gains or losses felt on the butt dyno?

I like the Y Pipe, it makes the exhaust sound like it did before during cold starts, but all the time now. Raspy as hell up the RPM range. As for low end tq, I didn't really notice any loss. Perhaps because I have a high stall torque converter and a Supra LSD with the higher gears. Car definitely pulls harder now, especially in the 3500+ RPM range. I'll do a full video of some pulls once I have the SRT intake in.

Couple of new pictures. The car is finally sitting the way I want it to. I also installed an SRT intake with Race ECU. Under normal driving, it feels about the same but when I gun it, the car really hauls at 3500 RPM. It picks up really quickly with the high stall torque converter and the Supra LSD. The exhaust also pops between shifts with the Race ECU in.

Funny how it works, once you think you're done, things go in another direction. Stay tuned for more updates...
