Default Danny's GS400 build

So I got my GS400 in May of 2014 and loved it since day 1.
I bought it from an original owner who had it equipped with Supra TT front brakes, Daizen steering rack & control arm bushings, Eibach springs, & Borla axleback exhaust.
In due time I did some minor changes to it like:

BC Coilovers 14k F/ 12k R
Depo LED Tail Lights
Black Roof Vinyl
2 Layers of Limo Tint
X-Pipe & Resonator Delete
Weapon R Intake
TTE Lip

It's seen many forms regarding wheels & stance, but ultimately I'm over stretch & camber, going for a performance build.

Had a minor set back about 2 months ago

I spent a good chunk of money on the following;
Lextreme High Stall Torque Converter
PPE Headers
Kelford Cams
Kelford Valve Springs
Apexi Afc Neo
Mishimoto Radiator & 2 12" Fans

I have a Kaaz 2 Way LSD on order too, but back ordered for some time. Keep up with my thread and in the next couple weeks I'll post a bunch of pictures of the tear down & build up of the GS.
I've got a shop and a camera, that means I'm certified, right?

Next I'll probably build up the suspension entirely, better coilovers like KW or HKS, then a Supercharger.

Haven't installed it yet, doing it all at once next week or so. I'm going to send my heads to the machine shop to have new stems installed & valves checked.

I'd love to see dyno on this once you're done.

No worries bro, I plan to document this whole build.
I searched a lot to find info on a cammed GS400 but nothing really. Surprising

Just curious, but I didn't think those cams you got were for the vvti 1uz. but if so aren't they a rather aggressive for street use? BTW, I recognize you from /o/...

Nope the 207-C cams are considered a mild street cam and I was told they'd fit.

KELFORD 207-C Camshafts Lexus Mechanical Cam Set; Mild Street Cam [Lexus Ls400(1990-2000), Lexus Gs400(1998-2000)]

Also, sup br/o/!

Well, can you post a pic of the Kelford Intake cam? I don't mean to second guess the pros at Kelford but if the cam in the pic above is the Intake, then that isn't the right one.

Not sure which I took out of the box for the picture, wasn't paying attention. They're at my shop so I can't go check now, but Camshaft shop (direct retailer of Kelford) all have the same picture for each one.
What makes you think it's not the right one?

well on Kelford's website they don't mention if they are compatible, it just says that they are for the 1uz. I had not seen those on HPF's website. I have had the cams out of my motor and the intake cam is at least 5-7 inches longer
to fit the vvti gear over it. Anyway if they are good then I want to see some dyno results 'cause i'lI buy some too!
Good luck!
BTW the TTC cams at the bottom of the page are what I expected the cams to look like
