Default FR500GT's RC F-Sport Build Thread

I picked up my 2015 RC about a month ago so I figured I'd document the build along the way. I'm coming from a few cars in the 500hp range so I'm still getting adjusted to the RC. Here are the specs:

RC350 F Sport RWD
Obsidian
Black Interior
ML Audio System
Navigation
Moonroof
Parking Assist
BSM
Fog Lamps
IPA

First order of business was to install the F-Sport lip spoiler

The dealership made a mistake when I ordered my car but instead of waiting for a new car, they gave me a pretty large discount to make up for their mistake. I ordered the factory F-Sport spoiler online and then just did the install myself. The install was extremely easy to do although I do recommend a second pair of hands to get the spoiler positioned correctly the first time. I went the route of NOT bolting it on and I just used the provided double sided tape. This thing is secure and is NOT going anywhere if anyone is looking to install it this way.

Next on the list was addressing the restricted stock exhaust

This car comes from the factory with 4 cats, 2 resonators and 2 mufflers! I did my research and reached out to a few companies that were in development and was not really sold on anything out there. I ultimately wanted the car sounding a bit more aggressive and to be able to breath better all while still keeping the "factory" look and drivability. I also did NOT want to hack up the stock exhaust. So I had my buddy fab a quick custom setup to my specs. Ultimately its just a muffler delete with new tips...

Started with a used IS350 axleback and 3.5" dual tips. Also replaced the bulky stock hangers with a single hanger that was smaller and actually held the exhaust in place a lot better.

The car also lost about 40lbs along the way which always helps.

I know I really need to get a good video of it. The car will be getting RSR springs, wheel spacers and an alignment this week.

No idea, the stock tips have a really funky attachment for the muffler.

Which springs did you go with? Don't forget to get an exhaust vid while you're at it

Just from the muffler delete or did you remove/add lighter parts?
