fly_s2k's LS460 Build Thread
Like some on here, I didn't think I'd ever do a build thread, but I am very excited on the progress of my car and wanted to share my joy with others here. My build isn't much compared to many of the members on here, but I am excited to see how it all comes together.
Before I post on the LS, I'd figure I'd share my other car as a background reference.
My Honda S2000 (weekend/track car)

Now onto the LS; Picked up the vehicle Oct 2014, 2009 LS460 SWB/RWD in Opaline White Pearl.

I really didn't care for the wheels much, so I decided to put some 20" AG 310's on the car (20x8.5" +30 & 20x10" +38) to give it a better stance.

Clearly the car definitely needed to be lowered. Decided to go with the Tanabe NF210 springs since my objective was to maintain as much of the ride quality as possible. Coilovers may be in the future, but I haven't been able to get concrete answers about a set that offers the same plush/comfortable ride quality.

Since the car already has wonderful brakes, I figured I'd spruce it up a bit. Went with Adam's rotors overslotted rotors and painted/decaled the calipers.

At this point, this is what the car looks like:

The kit arrived Mid February this year

I've been very busy with work, so I didn't actually get the kit to my body/paint guy until last week...Yea I know, shame on me...

However, he just finished with the major fitting this weekend

I finished picking out the accenting colors today, so hopefully it'll be painted and mounted on soon. I will post pictures once it's all done. After the kit is mounted, I'll have the roof wrapped glossy black.

Body color is Opaline white pearl, inner accenting color is a dark grey metallic, and the third accenting color (for the side skirt and rear) is metallic anthracite.

Going to drop by tomorrow to see how things are going, but I think he's putting finishing touches now. Should be complete shortly...
