Post Blog post

Now with the airride, the "sunken" wheels look is more emphasized than I can bear.

There is about 25mm of empty space in the front.
About 40 mm of empty space in the rear.

From the looks of it, the LS430 should've came from factory looking like it had 15mm F/25mm R.
This aggressive stance is best seen on the OEM vehicles from Germany mostly, but a lot of other manufacturers do it too. So I have came to a decision to add spacers and make the wheels pop out a little bit more.

I've come across www.motorsport-tech.com, read that a few LS430 owner's had great experience with them. They are a shop in the USA who makes custom spacers.
Had good communication with them, and they said that they're measurements are guaranteed to perfection.
Price is also not too bad. For 4 spacers, (2)12mm +(2)25mm it's coming up to show about $220 shipped.
I just have to make a decision on what size I need in the fronts.

I know I want 25mm in the rear, but for the fronts, I am thinking that 15mm may be too much. If I sacrifice 5mm, and get the 10mm spacer I think I will give myself more clearance for when the wheel is turned so that it doesn't hurt/affect the fenders. I am still on air though, so I can still sit pretty high for driving mode.

Option 1
If 10mm seemed to be too short, I'll just add a 5mm one, but I doubt that. I think I will be satisfied at 10mm.

Option 2
Get something in the middle, a 12mm spacer, since I can get them in any size I desire.

The other thing is that from the pictures, it seems like the tires will look equally poking out.I don't want that to be the dominant look. I would like it if the fronts would sit inside the fender just a tad more than the rear wheels. #staggered

Just what's going on through my crazy mind right now...

funny coincidence, that's the order I put in before I read your post.

I hope it turns out looking nice. 12mm/25mm it is!

The studs came in. Had to post about them.

The finish is absolutely clean and professional. They are very heavy too. I didn't expect them to be this top of quality.

Thank you ARP. Thank you Summit Racing for free over night shipping

But seriously, I do feel like the car gained something performance wise, not too drastic, just
noticeable. I don't know how much to be precise, since I've never dyno'd my car.

But I am happy that they are still quiet, low end rumble but still quiet.

I'll upload a video when I get the time to do so.

Appreciate it as always Kira, thanks for passing by~

appreciate it, thanks for following along

Borla sound great......I've used their universal versions on a couple of my builds. I love the tips, even if they cost more than some full exhausts....

Super sweet ride. I'm stoked to see another quality build in PDX. Hopefully I'll see you cruising around one of these days.

Truth, brother. Even though the price was ridiculous just even on one side, but just couldn't sacrifice the perfect fitment on these BP tips.

I'll need to push the tips a little further in. Exhaust shop stuck them too far out, but decided to roll with it for the time being.

Thanks Zoolander, appreciate that!
I'm usually in PDX every other week, would be awesome to meet up with other Lexus enthusiasts.

Do you have the spacers on yet? I have the same sport wheels and I did 15mm front and 25mm rear hubcentric spacers from H&R. It's brought my wheels out exactly where I want them, but if you're on air i bet you need more clearance than me. Here's some before and after of the 15/25 setup: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...pressions.html

I've lowered it an inch on Tanabe springs since that thread and there still aren't any significant rubbing problems. Are aftermarket wheels in the future for your LS? If so, it's awesome to have spacers on hand. Saves a lot of trouble if new wheels don't clear our big calipers.
