Yup. 18x8.5 +35 for the fronts and 18x9.0 +35 for the rears.

Well, after waiting nearly two years, I finally had the dash replaced on my IS350 as well as having the airbag recall done. I was driving around in a 2017 IS200t for the past two days and the turbo lag was a buzz kill. I'm also not a fan of how slow the 8-speed transmission shifts gears when you try to manually downshift a few gears. Suffice to say, going back to my 2IS350 felt like an entirely different car.

Now I'm just waiting for additional door panels to arrive at my Lexus service center and soon the interior will feel like new again.

^Bet you liked the interior and the bluetooth/satelite radio though. LOL!

Yeah, after I got my door panels, it was like new again! Keeping this car forever!

Being that it's the end of the year and I didn't buy anything for myself for Christmas, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a set of PPE headers.

Before I do so, for those of you with aftermarket headers installed and no primary catalytic converters, is there a noticeable gas smell/odor coming from the exhaust when you're at a stop?

I'm doing some research on the forums right now and I'm reading that there are two sets of catalytic converters (primary and secondary). I believe the secondary cats are located at the mid pipe section (as shown on the attached picture).

Since I'm currently only using an axleback F-Sport exhaust, would the OEM secondary cats minimize any of the potential odors that the primary cats were initially absorbing?

Should I also order a pair of O2 sensors for the headers since the car is at 80ish thousand miles and over 10 years old?

Nice! Not sure if relevant but, my friend owns a whole bunch of straight piped BMWs and his personal 335i definitely stinks at stop lights and the whole general area around the car. People usually order new O2 sensors because the old ones typically break on removal IIRC. If I ever decide to keep my car even longer and go for PPE headers as well, I'm going for the optional magnaflow highflow cats they offer.

I'm excited to see what you think about the PPE headers! according to most members, it should really wake the car up even more.

It took a little while (headers were on backorder) but at long last, the PPE headers and titanium thermal wrap from RR-Racing arrived in the mail today!

Though I originally was planning on using the thermal wrap to insulate the headers, I decided to go a different route and I now plan on having the headers ceramic coated inside and out with a matte black finish. Hopefully I'll get that taken care this weekend so I can get these new headers on the car soon after.

I see their new O2 sensor extenders come with high temp coverings. Nice!

I am considering it, especially with Stage II supercharger kit making over 400rwhp with the 3IS AWD test vehicle.

I'm currently waiting for the debut of the next-gen Supra GRMN to see if it's the car I've been waiting all these years for. If it doesn't meet my expectations, let's work something out since I do plan on keeping my 2IS350 for life.

Well, if there's one thing that the 2IS350 will outshine the new Supra in, it's having a back row for additional passengers (since all spy shots of the camouflaged Supra indicate it being a two-seater).

Hmm, just curious... why didn't you get the headers ceramic coated from PPE in the first place? Also on a side note, do you think ceramic coated headers would benefit a DD car that visits a nice back road every now and again?

I purchased the PPE headers through RR Racing and ceramic coating is not offered as an option. I did acquire the optional titanium heat wrap but after weighing the pros and cons of both options (heat wrap or ceramic coating), I ended up choosing the ceramic coat option as my choice due to its potential long term durability versus the heat wrap (which might need to be re-wrapped after 5-7 years).

IMO, the headers would benefit whether you choice the heat wrap or ceramic coating route. The goal is to keep engine bay temps at a tolerable level so the heat won't shorten the life of many of electrical components residing near the headers. Keeping the heat inside the headers will also help to scavenge the hot exhaust gases more quickly which will theoretically give you a slight gain in horsepower.
