Shibumi's finally on its way back to the body shop....still a few pieces at our shop that require some attn... but the body can get prepped for paint..it should see the booth middle of next week...

more random pics... i upgraded alot of the wire to 2/0,1/0,0/0awg 100% ofc copper where i could.... and all the speaker wire is 12awg or 14awg.... fyi everything is fused up the wazoo!!!!
those terminals are temporary. the new ones will go on after its back from the body shop... they killed my optima an it has to jumped everytime to start til the new batt gets put in..that one was 3months old before it died..good thing theres a warranty.. so a new one will be put in after the door panels go back on.....

same here...some of the new ... lights... came in today..rest will be in tues or weds
Anytime...just gimme a call so I make sure to bring it (if its not already at the shop.) Its been a permanent fixture in the batcave...
Yeah it sounds amazing.. I'm changing the sub box (again). I decided since I'm keeping the car I'm going to open the rear deck a bit larger and bring the subs up directly into the rear deck giving me better bass response inside the car and giving me a bit more much needed trunk room..
Let me know (in advance) when your available to listen.. I have a prefab I drop in for demo's as of late...since the final box design hasn't been finished yet.... going ported for more low end..

there's no hurrying now..its the final stretch... doubtful the 24th will be doable.... BUT I still have hope it'll be done... I'm at the body shop daily getting all my wiring tight... (even running extra wire j.i.c. theyre needed later..) and making minor changes.
my last mod will either to lose or keep the trunk emblem...thoughts???? i have this week to decide as paint starts in days.. last final sanding and prepping has begun....

you know its bad when yesterday morning my wife an i are in bed on our phones swapping paint scheme ideas.... (7am-10am) lol.... then at the beach for 2more hrs.. hey babe what about this?????
BUT i think "we" finally came up with a solution... FYI GRAY ON GREY is MURDER!!!!!!!!!! trying to look clean and classy w/o overdoing either one....

Man that would be great if done by the 24th, far as the emblems I want to drop the "Lexus" off the rear leave the logo & LS460L on the trunk lid. You can drop the "Lexus" & "LS460" then leave the logo.
