Default VNTR Intro/ Build thread Socal

Unfortunately I will be selling the car and moving on. It was originally for .y mom who ended up not liking it.

Coilovers brand new are 900
Brand new Tires for $450
22x9 ssr Vienna zWheels brand new asking $1600

Located in Huntington beach

Coilovers and wheels and tires are for sale
please email me at tam@ventureonphoto.com

Car is currently stock but I have stuff shipping in all next week.

-First to go on is BC coilovers. I just purchased them but I don't think coilovers will do 22's any justice under practical driving heights,.. I feel they look right when dumped and I don't think I will be driving dumped much on coilovers.

-second, I have a new set of 22x9 Zweel's coming in tmrw (will post pics )
This is where I need help with spacers and thank everyone for the help so far

-third, I just ordered a set of Brembo GT's silver/drilled which I'm looking to install myself if any one could lend further assistance with that

I'm looking to redo tint to mercedes like blue but don't like that it's too light. any suggestions?

for my 22x9 all around

I was thinking of spacing out to about +20 with 245/30.

The rears I have a bit trouble finding help as not much people are lame enough like me to use 9 inches in rear. Mine are +34 right now but was thinking of a +10-15 spacer with 255/30/22

What are your thoughts on this in terms of getting a decently flush yet with minimal camber.

And Ive gone through the entire wheel thread a few times. Just want personal detailed insight as most images wont show correct perspective in relation to distance

Would 12x1.5 be fine with 25mm spacer adapter? will 12x1.5 be fine with 10-15 disc spacer?

I am willing to sell my BC coilovers brand new unopened if any one is interested. Gonna go air route now and save me money long run since I will have air later anyways. I was planning to go with oem monoblock type wheel which coils would be fine. Spur of the moment, i bought 22's and think coils just don't do 22's any justice at drivable heights to me.

What air ride are you thinking of getting? You could keep the BC coilovers and do a bag over coil setup (universal air suspension). Could keep the coils and install them while you save up for the UAS (universal air suspension ) bags and start piecing together the management and misc parts.

I went with the platinum vip phantom cup kit w/ Megan coilovers for my suspension. In the end I spent as much for my setup as an airride setup but I'm okay with never being stranded if a bag goes out, a stuck solenoid or wiring issue. Vwvortex.com has by far one of the best airride forums on the net. Though it's vw cars check it out and start your research. Let us know. Here to help

poor etiquette of me to start a thread with no pictures...

brown came in. I wonder why inside spokes say 5 x130 but barrel and box reads 5 x 120? I haven't got chance to test fit them yet.

I'm confuse...you're getting everything except for new caliper. How is that BBK? Just curious...

You ordered 5x120 right? I wouldn't try test fitting them yet. Id be more inclined to believe the specs imprinted on the wheel than the box. What do the other wheels say on the inside spoke?

This is 22x9 with +34. I'll test them on front's tomorrow. There is plastidip on wheels because my buddy wanted to test it on there before putting on his stock 14 gtr wheels...lol

I Need to get a second jack, but I feel like I will just wait until next week when the BCs come in. There is no way I will be riding around in 22's at stock height

Either way, i think tires will be 245-30 front and 255 30 rear

btw, the wheels fit fine. Apparently its regarding a load index rating of the spokes or so according to representative.

Thanks a lot for the kind words man. hopefully it'll be that nice someday. I really wish my car was black. its another level of elegance not seen in silver, I don't think.

Here's an update to the toys that have been sitting around.

opted for Ohtsu 245/30 all aroundafter all the good reviews stating its much like falken 452's (which i was going to purchase until getting insights)

waiting for car to come back tomorrow to throw on suspension. wheels will be on in a month as I'd like to take some time and get the right offset for my driving and custom adapters will take a little bit.

offsets Leaning towards 18+ to 20+ range for fronts 22x9
