Default New Members Bagged 96 on AG wheels

Hey everyone. New member here. Figured I would post up my ride. I was in the market to sell my 400whp toyota matrix to get a luxury car and go with the VIP style. My friend had a bagged 98 and had 387k miles on the stock motor still running amazing. I read up on this car and found out it wasn't too uncommon as these cars were way over-engineered. So I decided I wanted an LS400 and I got her about 3 months ago. First thing I ordered were my AG wheels and then the bags. I rode around in monster truck mode for almost two months before my bags finally arrived. Then me and my friend spent 13 hrs installing everything. Then I guess my tail lights didn't like the ice storms we had to much and they decided to stop working so I had an excuse to get the LED tails with clear fron turn signals And this is how she currently sits.

I would like to say she WILL tuck the rear but the fenders are scrapping my lips when I air all the way down and back up. So I need to cut them. When I get around to cutting them I will also cut the top of the strut tower so my fronts can tuck as well. (currently bottoming out on the control arm)

If you like what you see you can see the rest of the pictures from this photoshoot be sure and follow me on Instagram @kennyneely_tsc

Thanks for looking you guys

Well my friend had his setup for over 2 years without issue so I decided to try what he had which was the ksport air kit. He opted for accuair e-level for his ride. While I would love the ease of having this management, I am quite finicky when it comes to electronics and don't trust them too much. To me it just creates more lines and places for stuff to go wrong so I kept the manual management and used a ruler to perfectly align the height on all 4 wheels at a set psi. Saves me over a grand and there are less places for stuff to go wrong, which will make troubleshooting when they do much easier in the future. I currently only have one 380c Vlair compressor that came with the kit. Fills my 5gal tank in around 3 minutes. I might eventually go dual 400s but that would be just to have the symmetry of two compressors.

Next mods planed are to cut my fenders so my wheels can tuck all the way around without scrapping the lips of my wheels. I will also have to notch out part of the strut tower so the front can go lower.

I already have my 9003, 9005, and 9006 5000k bulbs picked out. Just waiting for payday to get them Also already purchased 168-194 LED side marker bulbs but they are coming from china and will take a month probably.

Last thing for now will probably be to plastidip the gray part of my two tone. There are a ton of smudges I can't seem to get off and the front is eat up with rock chips. Guess that's the good part about the whole car not being pearl white.

That's all I can think of for now.

Maybe all LED interior lights in the future as well but I'm to lazy atm to research all the different type of bulbs required. lol

Thanks for all the input and question everyone. You guys seem to be way more active than lexusownerclub. I registered there too and haven't really gotten any responses. So you guys are the winners. lol.

Thanks. When I started looking I knew I had to have a UCF20. I just loved the front bumper when I saw it. I knew it had potential for a plate fill/delete and some LEDs and then I start looking on IG and found the SuperStar build and I'm like I knew that would look sick! I can't wait to do them myself

I did the full LED interior and exterior upgrade on my 96, posted a list of all the bulbs you need. Ordered everything from superbrightleds.com I'm sure I could dig up the invoices and get you all the same part#'s if you wanted to go that route...

If you could do that, that would be pretty sweet. I'm interested to see how much you paid for them all. I mainly just need to know what type of bulbs are used for each spot. Did you do the trunk light as well?

trunk lighting in our cars are terrible as i am sure you already noted. i opted for an LED board full of LED to light up the trunk. works great but doesn't fit under the clear cover, but no big deal.

just for kicks
