No, I put in a PIAA extreme white bulb (it has a bluish look to it). As opposed to the stock yellowish bulb

just noticed the e-shift buttons, so it must be a 400... i think the mod is the wood ashtray. matches well!

Sorry, I forgot to mention that my car is a 99 so, yes the mod is the wood ashtray (and not the floor mats!! ).

i knew it was the ashtray but my 2nd guess would have been the floor matts too anyhow, looks very clean hammed, another job well done!!

Its hard to fight the MOD bug isn't it...

It was actually quite simple - I just tugged gently at it (I moved the gear lever to the lower most position to give me more room in front of the tray) and it eventually just popped out.

Yes it is hard fighting the mod bug.

Very nice Hameed! It's great to see that such a small item can make such a big difference! Can't wait to see what you have after the ground kit

I don't smoke. The whole idea of doing this mod was simply to reduce the vast expanse of black on the dash. I'm sure in the next gen GS the dash will have more wood in it.
