I have been lightly boosting, and all that I need is to get the IC pipes welded. In the mean time I will boost away. Next I have to finish the coil install and then re-make the FFI to look nicer than it is.

Celica GTS coils
I test fit the Celica GTS coils and I like how they sit. I am not worried about them sitting in the spark plug galley under a cover. This looks quite nice and when I install a aluminum piece across the top it will be complete

Today I test drove the cop set up and sad to say that the 1zz coils gave up the ghost. I originally bought 2zz coils thinking that they were 1zze coils 1zz coils end with 0239 2zz coils end with 0238.....when I ordered them I ordered 4 2zz coils thinking that they were 1zz coils. I then bought 2 1zz coils to see which fared better. hands down the 2zz coils are still running. The 1zz coils were from late model Toyota's as well.
The 2zz coils are what I will use and recommend since I have heard that the 1zz coils don't like the heat. 2zz coils are used in late model Lotus, so I will continue using them.

Idle control
Today I decided to start installing my idle speed control valve. I drilled and tapped a 3/8 NPT hole, and threaded a flared -8 fitting. I will finish the install and program the cold start and warm idle speeds to my liking.

Today I installed the ISC remote unit and did a "QWIK" cold and Warm idle control program so far all is good. I probably will need to change the opening and closing points for cold weather but for now it's all good! Now I don't need to worry about opening the throttle plate by screw too much or too little. Now I get perfect 750 idle control! This is a for wire GM ISC control pintle style just like the Toyota unit but easier to wire in and instal.

COP retest
I am now retesting the COP set up as I did a month or so ago. If this works flawlessly I will buy 6 new coils. IF it fails I will redesign the LS2 coils into a COP setup for this engine. I have already test fit the design that I will use for the LS2 COP setup should these coils not hold up at least for a month, or more.

cOILS
It seems like these coils are a winner and did not give up the Ghost so buying the Celica GTS coils for the win is what I will use. I am going to make a cover to make them look nice for when the hood is open!
